Custom Cabinetry
This includes all built-in or free-standing casework such as bookshelves,
entertainment units, vanities, wardrobes, dressers and kitchens. If it looks
like a box and has doors, drawers or shelves you can call it a cabinet. Yet
it needn't be square, nor straight nor plain. Custom cabinetry provides the
opportunity to shape the cabinets to suit your individual needs. The materials
may be traditional hardwoods or paint-grade composites and there is a wide
range of finishes available. |

Design
The reason to order a custom cabinet is because you would like a piece that
is unique and/or a lot better made than what you can get from the factory. Custom
cabinets typically are designed to meet a particular need and to fit in a particular
space. Often the client has a good idea of what they would like, maybe using
some photos to help clarify. That is the beginning; after a series of conversations
and drawings, a design emerges and a cabinet is built. The design and drawings
are part of the process and are included in the cost of the project. |

Delivery and Installation
If the destination is within 200 miles of Cummington MA, cabinets will
be delivered as part of the cost of the project. Installation can be arranged
through S&S Studio or with your own contractor. Because of the low overhead
we enjoy with a home shop, the cost of cabinets and delivery is very competitive
with any other shop.
Warranty You can
be assured that the furniture and cabinets are carefully made and will last
a lifetime. Everything made at Stick and Stone Studio is fully warranted for
the life of the original owner against any defects in workmanship. |

Pricing
Each custom cabinet job is essentially a prototype,
a unique design. The price will depend on the materials, size, details, and
complexity of design. Nothing will be as inexpensive as what you can find at
your local home center, yet with custom work you are buying a higher quality
